Stephanie Colella, M.S. CCC-SLP

Owner & Director, Speech-Language Pathologist

My name is Stephanie Colella and I was born and raised in Arizona. With over 13 years of dedicated experience in the field of speech-language pathology, I am passionate about supporting individuals in their journey to improve language and literacy skills. As a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), my expertise spans across a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, and private practice, in both pediatric and adult populations.

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Speech Pathology from Northern Arizona University (2011), graduating with distinction, and a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Arizona State University (2007), where I graduated Magna Cum Laude.

I have had the privilege of working in diverse environments, from school districts to hospitals, and private practice, allowing me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges and needs each setting presents. My work focuses on providing tailored therapy that supports language development, literacy, communication, and cognitive functions for individuals of all ages.

As the owner and director of AZ Dyslexia Center, I am committed to delivering top-quality therapy services to Arizona students. A deep love for language and literacy fuels my work. Language is the foundation of how we communicate, and literacy is essential for success in education and beyond. We learn to speak, then read, and finally write — each stage of development is critical in ensuring every child's ability to thrive. The connection between these skills shapes a child’s confidence, academic success, and lifelong learning. I believe in the power of early and individualized intervention to set children on a path to success, both in academics and in life.
