
Jane Weber
Jane graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in K-12 Art Education. She attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln to receive her elementary certification. Additionally, she holds endorsements as a K-12 Reading Specialist, K-12 Library Specialist, and K-12 Art, and Structured English Immersion. Jane has taught in Iowa for 3 years and in Arizona for 30 years in both Gilbert and Chandler.
Jane has held the following positions in education:
- First and Second Grade teacher
- Reading Specialist
- Curriculum Specialist
- K-6 Media Specialist
Throughout her teaching career, reading has been a passion. As a Reading Specialist, Curriculum Specialist, and Media Specialist, she has helped struggling students learn to read and promoted the love of reading. Jane was responsible for the implementation of the district-wide computerized Reading Program, Accelerated Reader/Reading Renaissance and a staff development presenter for district Reading and Technology initiatives.
Jane is trained in Wilson Fundations, Wilson Just Words, and the Wilson Reading System.
