Charlotte Ingham M.A.

Charlotte graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. She received her Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. Additionally, she holds a Reading endorsement and SEI endorsement. She has taught special education in Arizona, and Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

During her career, she has taught special education in the areas of mentally handicapped, emotionally handicapped, and learning disabled. She began her reading therapist career with ALLC, and has been teaching with AZ Dyslexia Center since its inception.

In addition to being a reading therapist, she teaches students with learning disabilities in the public school system. As a special education teacher, her focus has been on reading instruction as the majority of her students struggle with reading skills. Teaching at AZDC affords her the ability to teach reading in a one-on-one setting, and use instructional methods and materials that have proven to be effective.
